What's the absolute main point for a couple to want to make this union?
Don't tell me "LOVE"....when a couple makes a commitment of marriage i suppose there are so many more than love.
How do you know that this person can accompany you for the rest of your life?
I think most people will say,"yes, he or she is 'the' one," even if they are blind.Yesterday after chatting with my cousin, he layed it out on the table, and explained to me the main reasons for his decision. I completely understood who can be Mrs. Wife or Mr. Husband. My cousin reinforced the idea that in a healthy relationship one's mate should be compatible and not a competitor. Personally, I reviewed myself and found that I am still looking for a competitor in some ways.
Don't you worry about limitation?
I always ponder about this point.Being single you can pursue the goals you want, and do anything youare interested in. How about married people? Well, of course it depends on who you get marry to but basically indeed there are many things you cannot do. At this point in my life, If married I would not be able to travel or stay in whatever country i desired. Thus, I wonder how many people realize what they will give up when commiting to marriage. So I have to admire how someone in my cousins position has to consider very clearly and deeply, I know it is not easy.
